Celebrate the Season

Hello everybody. When I can I love to share a card. I have been out of inspiration for a long time. It still is not flowing but life is just too busy with other things at the moment.  Our son, Rodney has been home now for a week. I am looking after him and slowly but surely he is recovering from his second operation which was quite an ordeal, with complications.

So this is my card share today. I used the Hero Arts fern stamp to make snow covered trees and popped up a die cut deer as focal point.

I will not be making too many Christmas cards this year, just too stressful!!

Simple little Christmas card

I was too late for the white on white Christmas card challenge on Hero Arts, but it was great to find just a bit of inspiration again.

Using the new Holiday Petals and Leaves set CL787 from Hero Arts; on clear white cardstock with a little black frame.

Virginia's View Challenge #9

I don't usually post so quick but my last card gave me an idea for the current challenge at Virginia's View, which is 'All Things Metallic' and can be found here.

The butterfly is gold embossed. This is a little close up.

I used a diecut which I stamped with a flower stamp from Anna Griffin in Fall colors after spraying with water to get a watercolor effect. Attached the butterfly and some sequins. A CAS card.

Thanks Virginia for all your consistent effort to get these challenges out there.

Blessings

... to you all.
Hope you are all well. I haven't felt like posting on this Blog due to so many things that I have been dealing with, not the least being our son, Rodney who had his second operation a week ago. It was and has been very difficult with complications. He so wants to come home. We remain strong in prayer, with many other precious people who are praying so he is surrounded with a chain of prayer, but it is hard.

So, I just want to say a simple 'blessings' with this very simple card. Stamped on a diecut butterfly and attached it to another diecut which is speckled textured paper. The sentiment is from Clearly besotted stamps.
Thank you all for your support. I am amazed at the kindness of people!

And a photo of my grand daughter, Seréna. I will have to miss her though, because Joël and Vivian are leaving France and going to live in Holland in December!
