Collage cards and good news

Good news about our son Rodney. He has improved so much that he has moved back to his flat regaining his independence once again! The pain in his foot has decreased so that he does not need medication any more and he has even began working again for a couple of hours a day! He has made his next appointment to have his reconstruction done and the exterior waste-bag removed. We are so thankful to God and also to all those who prayed on his behalf!

A share today of three collage cards I made.

I had the music and blue paper scraps which I wanted to use together and selected a tag and bird stamp to complete it. In hind sight I probably should have used a lighter card base. Thanks to Maria Doricheva who sent me the pansy border a while ago.

Another card I made by stamping a bird and different leaf stamps together. So simple really.

My last card, once again, bird and flowers using the colors I love.

I bought a little bunch of roses at our local supermarket, they give so much pleasure!

Have a lovely Sunday.

Card with a wine label

Sharing a card made with a wine label.

I embossed the floating meadow cling of Hero Arts in white on the wine label. Added a couple of scrap strips underneath and stamped a sentiment. I found this butterfly in my scrap basket.

Have a lovely week still!

Spring!

We are having amazing weather.. blue skies, high temps and it would seem Spring has come early.

I am sharing a card made with my newly acquired Hero Arts Sentiment which is 'Let His Love light your way'. If it wasn't for the Love of God we would have no hope in this world. Now, because of Jesus we have a light in us to shine upon our path of life. God's Word says that His Word (that is the Bible) is a lamp for our feet and a light on our path Psalm. 119:105.

My second card is simply 'Blessings'. The flower is from Clearly Besotted.

And a little collage layering several stamps.
Have a lovely day!

Card received, cards made!

A huge thank you to Franziska, who sent me this beautiful card and a couple of stamps. This card looks like a French village..

Isn't it beautiful. The tree is the Classic Evergreen stamp from Hero Arts. The background is made with 'A Village' stamp from Hero Arts - S5432.
Wouldn't it be great if there were card samples we could see with a stamp before we buy it. I don't mean on the screen but in real life. Its like when you see a cake. If you can just taste a sample and you like it, you usually end up  buying it. Its a great technique that markets and shops employ. They sell a lot of wine this way :)
Having this beautiful card in my own hands, I saw the beauty of decorating this beautiful tree and now I am looking out for it! Just think of using up all the stray little strass and pearls one has and how their value is pronounced.
Well, with the stamps she sent me, which were a rose and several different leaves, I made three different cards:

I used the Simple Frame stamp from Hero Arts S5324 to outline the flowers and leaves. The thank you sentiment is Hero Arts as well.

I used the Village stamp as background from Hero Arts S5432.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts on this last card. The roses and leaves are from Cart-Us - never heard of them before.
Have a lovely Sunday!
